Reflections – August

Let’s start a new chapter !

As much as I love autumn, I’m sad to see summer fading away.

Yes friends. September is here.

The last day of any month is a good time to review past four weeks.

Here’s what filled my August.

Lately, I have been…..

Making: good use of my left hand ( right hand has some issues going on )

Cooking: my all time favorite recipes.

Drinking: frappuccino ( a lot of them ).

Reading: books on my summer reading list.

Wanting: to blog more frequently.

Looking: forward to Autumn.

Solving: crosswords, Sudoku, word searches.

Wishing: to do a sunrise hike.

Enjoying: last few days of summer.

Waiting: to get started on few pending crafts.

Liking: Instagram but  at the same time….

Wondering: if I have that kind of time for Instagram !

Loving: my hair a lot. I’m treating them well, so they are behaving nicely.

Wearing: whatever my wardrobe has to offer.

Thinking: how to end some unwanted friendships.

Feeling: nostalgic about so many things.

  1. I do love September, the weather is usually still kind and it’s a nice settle into the crude winter. I don’t like winter! I just want to stay inside all the time 🙁

  2. I wish it would stay September all year long. I love the fact it is not to hot or to cold…

  3. Fazeelah, it all comes down to what we learn. Have a great winters ahead :))

  4. I have summer all year round. Based in the UAE. I look forward to winter though because temperatures are a little bit cooler during that time. August was not a very pleasant month for me but I learnt many lessons and that’s all that matters.

  5. I’m sad too that summer is on the way out. I don’t think I had enough of it yet. I loved your summary of August. Mine was a bit of work, a bit of rest (I especially liked the second part of August when we were away.)

  6. Here in the Philippines, August to September is just nothing. It is still warm. And the weather is still weird. 🙂 I love how I felt cool reading your post. Keep it up friend!

  7. A sunset hike sounds so lovely!

  8. I always enjoy posts like this, it’s so good to look back on the month and see what you’ve been up to 🙂 I have to admit I’m super excited for autumn too; crisp sunny mornings make me so happy!
