July 4th weekend is less than a week away. I’m sure people already know what their plans look like for this long weekend.
Whether you are going out to watch fireworks at night or attending / throwing a barbecue, or celebrating a special milestone in the family ( like us), your July 4th outfit should not take a backseat. You can still dress cute, chic and look your best.
I’m super excited about this article. July 4th is a special occasion in our family. All this week, I will be busy in the preparations to celebrate accordingly. Secondly, this is the 150th article on my website. Now that calls for a celebration too. You see I miss no chance to celebrate small things in life 🙂
Do you want to show your patriotic spirits by doing it all >>> White + Blue + Red ?
Or maybe you are not literally into it but still thinking of ways to work with either one of the colors.
Before you decide on your outfit , keep these in mind:
Comfortable yet chic – you will be eating and moving a lot. So wearing clothes which are too tight are going to bring a lot of discomfort towards the end of the party.
Casual – Semi formal ( Never Formal ) – BBQ’s are usually a casual affair unless specified. Keep it casual.
Avoid pencil heels if you are not comfortable because you will be moving around a lot ( for a good 3-4 hours ).
If you think wearing the patriotic colors will be a bit too much, then think of wearing them as accessories – shoes, bag, jewelry, nails. Red lips/ nails will enhance the look of your white or blue outfit.
And remember, if nothing else works for you, denims are always there to your rescue.
Read here on how to wear your denims in summer and rock the look.

My outfit for this weekend is still undecided but knowing I have plenty of options is like music to my ears.
Have a great rest of the week !
