Moisturizing Face Mask

Guest Article by Sakshi Mehra

This is probably the first mask I ever used on my face. And let me tell you this is the only mask/ makeup my grandmothers used when they were alive !!

My work commute is 40 minutes one way. All that travel and stress shows on my skin if I don’t have a healthy and  consistent facial care routine. So, I try to be very regular in my skin care routine. This face mask is easy to use and the ingredients are always available in my kitchen. The results are refreshing, so I usually stick to this one when I need some TLC for my skin.

This face pack provides moisture and deep cleanses the skin.

You will need :

1 tablespoon Besan / Chickpea flour

2 tablespoons plain yogurt

1 pinch of turmeric

Few drops of coconut oil ( you can use your favorite cream/lotion but  why add chemicals in this organic mask ?  )

If you don’t have coconut oil, try olive or almond oil.

Mix all of the ingredients together and make a medium consistency paste.

Wash your face before applying this face pack. Apply the pack on your face with a brush, cotton swab or your fingers.  Leave for 15 minutes or until dry.

Wash with cold water. Pat dry your face.

Enjoy your soft and glowing skin !!

Thanks Polka Dots and Curry for this opportunity.
