This seriously tasty side dish has all the flavors to make your simple meal more memorable. Use it as a dip, salad dressing or eat it just by itself. This was one of the popular sides which was enjoyed by most of the guests at a recent Diwali get together hosted by us.

1 Cup fresh yogurt
1/2 teaspoon roasted, powdered, cumin seeds
1/2 teaspoon rock salt/ black salt
1 pinch black pepper
1/4 cup finely chopped mint leaves
1/4 cup finely chopped cilantro leaves
1 tsp crushed garlic ( fresh )
Beat yogurt to remove any knots.
Add all the spices. Mix well.
Add mint, garlic and cilantro. Mix them well so that they blend with the yogurt.
Rich source of Calcium.
Green herbs are good source of iron and Vitamin A.
