Remove tofu from pan when golden brown.

In the same pan, saute potato cubes for about two minutes on medium flame. Remove when potatoes turn golden ( 2-3 minutes ).

Cut the tofu rectangles into smaller cubes. It is easier to cook tofu as a single piece, and then cut it into desired size. You may cut it before cooking and then  pan fry each piece, it will just take longer to flip each single cube.

Sprinkle all the spices and lime juice over tofu and potato cubes. Mix well and garnish with cilantro before serving.

You may skip cooking the tofu and potato and just sprinkle them with all the spices and enjoy this spicy chaat cold especially in summers. But you would definitely want to eat it warm during winters 🙂
