Avocado Raita / Spiced Yogurt with Avocado

The other day when I was talking to my sister  in India, she asked  me if there is an easier way to use Avocado. One would think of the famous guacamole or a sandwich but then you can’t eat them on a daily basis, more so in Indian context. Basically she wanted to have a recipe which could be incorporated in the daily menu, pairing well with Indian dishes. So this is what I suggested her.
Serves: 2                               Difficulty level: Very Easy
Ready In : 5 minutes                Course: Side Dish
Ingredients

1 cup Plain Yogurt /  Greek Yogurt
1/4 cup diced  Onions ( skip these during navratri )
1/4 cup diced Cucumber
1/2 cup diced Avocado
1 teaspoon black salt
1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
1/4 cup chopped Cilantro leaves

Directions
  1. Beat yogurt to remove any knots.
  2. Add all the spices, mix well.
  3. Now add all the veggies.Mix again.
  4. Enjoy !!

Serving Suggestions

Relish this thick, creamy dish with curries, pulav/ biryani or simply as a dip.

Variations

Feel free to add your favorite veggies but try not missing the onion as it makes the dish crunchy.
