It is that time of year when we are ready with our new rules which we intend to follow for at least first quarter of this brand new year. If you can cover that time frame, you are doing good( because they say it takes only 21 days to form a new habit). These new rules, more popularly known as  “New Year Resolutions” are usually bigger & broader than the last year’s.
My best  New Year Resolutions were made when I was doing my Masters degree in Guidance & Counseling  ( M.Ed. ). As a Psychology student then, I was learning to know more about human mind & behavior and so I thought I would make short, realizable goals which I would be able to master by the end of the year. Everything looked perfect & achievable (at least in my journal ). But I’m still behind !!
One of my New Year’s Resolution has always been about eating healthier foods or incorporating a few new food items in our daily diets. Who would not like doing that?  Keeping that in mind, I’ll be  posting some wholesome  recipes  in the forthcoming weeks. The main ingredients will be either of these :
Oatmeal
Quinoa
Avocados
Berries
Lots of Greens
Meanwhile you can start a new pre breakfast routine this week:
Drink a cup of hot water flavored with fresh lemon juice to stimulate the release of digestive enzymes.
